If you would like to take advantage of the expertise provided by the Office of Research Services in providing feedback on applications, please submit a draft application in time to allow for revisions before the internal deadline (normally allow a minimum of one week for feedback and revisions). You are encouraged to contact the office and arrange for feedback personally to ensure that you do not miss out.
Some of the major funding schemes (eg ARC large grants) will have a feedback date set, whereby applications received by this date will receive guaranteed feedback. The Office of Research Services will still endeavour to provide feedback on applications received after a set feedback date, however this cannot be guaranteed. These dates will be advertised before the major funding rounds.
In order to process an application - checking budget, ensuring it is completed in accordance with the guidelines, obtaining institutional signature, photocopying required number of copies - final applications need to be submitted two weeks prior to the external closing date.
