Only supervisors registered with the Board of Graduate
Research may undertake the primary supervision roles
of supervisor or co-supervisor. Supervisors who have
been registered with the Board of Graduate Research
have stated their commitment to:
fulfil their responsibilities as outlined in the
Code of conduct in supervision and adhere to the
Statement and procedures on research practice (refer
to the Policies
and Guidelines);
remain informed about quality supervision practices
and institutional policies by undertaking relevant
activities within a three-year period; and
inform the head of school or graduate research
coordinator on a regular basis about the progress
of each candidate, and participate in the annual
review of progress.
