Menzies Research Institute PhD Scholarship in Medical Research

The University of Tasmania is offering four full scholarships for overseas students to study a PhD in medical research at the Menzies Research Institute in 2010. The scholarships cover full tuition fees and also provide a living allowance.

Faculty of Education Half-Fee Scholarship

The Faculty of Education is committed to supporting International students pursuing Masters and/or Doctorate research degrees at the University of Tasmania. To assist and encourage our students, the Faculty offers a number of Half-Fee Scholarships for International Students. The Half-Fee scholarship will reduce by half of the tuition fees payable for studies in a Faculty of Education research higher degree (M Ed Research, PhD or EdD).

 

Successful applicants will possess potential for contribution to established or emerging research areas for the Faculty:

  • Mathematics Education
  • Literacy Education
  • Leadership
  • Education, Health and Well-being
  • Teaching and Learning in Teacher Education
  • Curriculum and pedagogy
    N.B Applications from other areas of education research are also welcome.

Applications will be accepted from both new applicants and continuing candidates.

Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (EIPRS)

  • Available to applicants from all countries (except New Zealand)
  • Covers tuition fees (normally 3 years for a doctorate and 2 years for Masters degree) and basic health care cover for scholarship holder and dependants (if dependants are travelling to Australia)
  • Applications Closed

Thomas Crawford Memorial Scholarship

This prestigious award will be offered to students who are citizens of the United States of America, Canada, Chile, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Australia who are wanting to pursue a doctoral or masters degree by research.

  • Please note that this scholarship will not be offered in 2010.
