Current Graduate Research Candidates

I WANT TO:

Submit my preliminary research plan
All candidates must submit a preliminary plan after three months effective full-time candidature
Claim for establishment & travel costs
Some sholarships inlcude provision for establishment & travel costs. Refer to the conditions of your award for details
Submit my supervision agreement
All international candidates must submit a completed supervision agreement two weeks after commencement
Change my personal details online (Login to e-StudentCentre)
Note: if you are moving outside of Tasmania you must apply to change to external candidature before changing your details.
Change my supervision arrangements
Suspend my candidature/scholarship
In order to avoid delays in scholarship payment please submit this application four weeks in advance of the requested effective date
Extend my candidature/scholarship
Applications for scholarship extensions must address specific criteria
Change from full-time to part-time (or vice versa)
Scholarships can only be paid part-time under a limited set of circumstances. Contact the Gradaute Research Office for more information
Change to external candidature
(ie relocate outside of Tasmania)
Change my thesis topic
Transfer from Doctoral to Masters Candidature
Transfer from Masters to Doctoral Candidature
Change my school of enrolment
Submit my thesis for examination
Submit my fine art thesis for examination
Submit the final copies of my thesis
Claim my thesis allowance
Some scholarships include provsisiion for thesis production costs. Refer to the conditions of your award for details
Complete the voluntary post-submission survey
This survey is anonymous and is your opportunity to contribute to the improvement of the UTas Graduate Research experience

Please note that review and consideration of your application will take at least two weeks. If you have not been informed of the outcome two weeks after submission of the completed application, please do not hesitate to contact the Graduate Research Office.
