Each year higher degree by research (HDR) candidates and their supervisors are required to review progress for the year. Submitting a Review of Progress is compulsory in order for candidature to continue.
The Review of Progress should be comprehensive and constructive. Participants should take the opportunity to:
- review progress
- identify achievements,
- discuss problems / potential issues and
- implement solutions.
The Review of Progress also provides an opportunity to set realistic milestones for the remainder of candidature, to ensure completion within the permitted timeframe.
The 2009 Review of Progress commences in the week beginning 12 October 2009 and concludes 11 December 2009.
The completed and signed Review, containing the Candidature Overview, Parts A, B and C, should be forwarded as a single document to the GRO, Private Bag 105, Hobart.
